Christmas Morning

Cheyenne and Samantha wanted ipods so bad for Christmas. They must have been good to get them.
Christian had a big present to open. It took him a while to open it.

His present was as big as he was. He loved helping Ryan put it together and playing with it.

Amy got clothes for Christmas.

Ryan did too.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, the children always reenact the Nativity. Ben was a shepherd and Christian was his lamb. They are cute little friends.

Andrew was Joseph, Cheyenne was Mary, and Samantha was a Wiseman. They always have so much fun reenacting the Nativity. They always wonder which part they will play.

Every year the children get to open one Christmas present and it is always pajamas. Samantha, Christian and Cheyenne look so cute in their winter PJ's.

We always get a picture of all of the children in their pj's on the stairs. This is always a big production, kids running off, crying, or not looking. This last picture actually turned out. Samantha, Brayden, Sara, Cheyenne, Tyler, Nicole, Brigham Ben, Andrew, Christian, and Sky.
The grandkids waiting to start playing Christmas games. We had so much fun on Christmas Eve.

Santa Party

On December 20th, we always have a Christmas party where Santa comes and gives all of the kids a gift if they had been good this year. There were many kids who were good who got gifts.
Christian couldn't wait to open his gift. He opened it right on Santa's lap. Then once it was open he was done with Santa and wanted to play with it.

Santa telling me how to take a picture while he and Cheyenne wait patiently for my camera to reset.

Santa gave Samantha a gift, she has definately been a good girl this year and has helped mom out a lot.

Building Gingerbread houses and trains

On December 11th We decorated Gingerbread houses and Trains. Cheyenne, Samantha, Christian, and Ryan are getting started making their masterpieces. We do this every year. It has become a tradition.

Cheyenne, Samantha, Amy, and Christian decorating their Gingerbread houses!!! We had fun.

Christian had a blast decorating his Gingerbread Train. He said where he wanted the candy and he put it there. If you tried to help him, he got mad. He is growing up too fast.
Here is Samantha's Gingerbread house all finished. We ran out of candy because Cheyenne and Samantha had so much candy on their roofs.

Cheyenne and her finished Gingerbread house. She was so proud of it. She decorated it all by herself. We didn't help her except for putting icing on where she wanted it.

Temple Square

On December 7th We went to look at the Christmas Lights at Temple Square. Ryan took this awesome picture of the Salt Lake Temple.

Samantha, Amy, Cheyenne, and Christian looking at the Shepherds, Christian was getting ornery and wouldn't look at the camera. It was starting to get cold.
