Summer Days

Now that it has finally stopped raining, we finally went outside and played in the water. It has honestly rained at least once a day for a month. We are so glad to see the sunshine. I love Sammie's face while she ran through the sprinklers. She doesn't like water on her face.
Christian is such a boy, nothing fazes him. He just runs and runs in the COLD water over and over even though his face says it is cold.
Usually Cheyenne is sitting in her towel because she is cold. Today she ran through the sprinklers for a little bit with her brother and sister.
Christian and Cheyenne taking turns going down the slide into the cold refreshing pool.
Cheyenne, Samantha, and Christian having so much fun making a splash pool. I love seeing them when they are having so much fun together.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. On June 21st, we celebrated Ryan on Father's day. He is such a great father and husband. He does so much for our little family. We love him so much. We gave him an itunes gift card, candy, a dress shirt and.....
...a personalized BYU jersey. We are so thankful for Ryan and all he does for us. He is a hard worker, our family leader, a worthy priesthood holder, he has a great sense of humor and can make anyone laugh. Just hearing him laugh can bring a smile to your face. We love him so much and are thankful he is our father and husband. We love you Ryan.

Last Day of School

On May 29th, we had the last day of school. We always get together with our neighbors and have a little party for the kids. Our neighbors always get out their water slide, which the kids just love, and we have lunch and play. We love our neighbors. They are such good friends and we have a great time together. This year Christian was finally brave enough to go on the slide. Last year he would have nothing to do with it. This year, once we finally got him on it, he wouldn't get off. He loved it.
Sammie is getting brave to go down backwards, upside down or any other way she can think of.
Cheyenne getting in a water fight with her friends Brinley and Tate. We love water fights.
Christian going down the water slide again. It was pretty funny watching him climb up the slide by himself. He wouldn't let anyone help him.
Say cheese Christian. I was able to get him to stop for a picture, then right back to the slide he went.
Sammie with her friends Brinley, her cousin Sara, and Hallie. What a great after school party we had.
Christian and Addie filling up their cups with water to join in the water fight. Christian and Addie get along so cute together. I am glad because Christian is the only boy that plays in the group of girls unless Tate comes over to his cousins to play.
Cheyenne waiting for her turn to go down the slide. This year she actually went down more than 2 times. Last year she wasn't so sure about it.

Dancin' Girls

Samantha and Cheyenne ready for their dance recital. Sammie danced to Love Shack and Too Cool. She did so good. We are so proud of her. She looks so cute in her dance costume.
Cheyenne danced to Boogie Piggies and Peppermint Twist. Cheyenne did a good job and shaking and twisting. She was so cute.
Sammie and Cheyenne are best little friends. I am so glad that they get along so well. They did such a good job at the recital.
Christian felt left out that he didn't get to get dressed up and get his pictures taken. He kept asking if it was his turn. He was satisfied with this fast picture of him.

Ryan's surgery

A few months ago, Ryan hyperextended this thumb and he thought he just jammed it really good. After talking him in to finally going and seeing the Dr. Ryan found out he tore the ligament off of his right thumb. He had surgery on May 18th. Tomorrow he will get his cast put on. He has had to learn how to do so much with his left hand. Every morning, I have to help him get dressed for work. He has had to let down his manly pride to let people help him when it is easy taskes to do if you have 2 hands to use. He can't lift or pull with his right hand at all.
Here is a closer look at his man claw!!!

Christian's 3rd Birthday

Christian getting to open his first presents on his birthday. He wonders what it will be. It is always a birthday outfit. He probably still hasn't figured that out yet though.
I am glad he is excited about getting clothes. He so desperately needed them.
An hour before his birthday party, Ryan and Christian were fighting and he kept showing his fist to Ryan. He was ready to take daddy on, and he meant it.
Christian kept doing his fist thing. We have no idea why.
Here it is again. Now it is becoming a joke when he does it and everyone kept laughing at him.
What a COOL DUDE. He looks pretty good in his new shades.
Christian's main gift for his birthday was a new boy bike. He has been riding Cheyenne's princess bike around the neighborhood. I told Ryan we needed to change that. He wouldn't get off his bike for the rest of the night.
Christian was so excited that he blew out all of his candles on his cake. He was very proud of himself. I can't believe he is 3 already. I feel like he was just born. We love him so much. It is so fun having a very energetic boy in the house.
