Sammie's first day of school!

Sammie started 2nd grade this year. She was so excited. She has been on the count down.
Here is her school outfit that she wanted to wear for her first day of school. Grandma took her shopping to get this out fit. She looks so cute in it. Thank you Grandma.

Daddy as the Bride

Sammie and Cheyenne had a fun time dressing Ryan up as a Bride. What a good sport Daddy is to let them do this to him.
What a cute bride!

Wiped Out!

We have gone so much this week, that after we went shopping today Christian had had it. He tried to get out of the car and only made it this far.
Christian tried to get a little bit farther out of the car. Boy he is one tired boy.

To Aunt Cindy's house we go!

We went to spend a day with Aunt Cindy and our cousins. We went to Hill Air Force Base to see all of the airplanes. The kids had a blast seeing how big the airplanes were. Brigham, Tyler, Christian, Ben, Sara, Nicole, and Andrew standing in front of a huge tire of one of the planes. It was amazing how big the planes were.
Cheyenne and Sammie in front of the big tires.
Andrew, Christian and Ben had a wonderful time running from airplane to airplane. They were clear down to the end while we were still at the beginning.
Sammie, Sara, and Brayden in front of more airplanes.
Inside of the museum, they had a children's center were the kids could dress up and play like they were flying the airplanes. Sammie and Christian in their gear to fly the airplane.
Cheyenne decided after all that she wanted to get dressed up also. They all looked so cute.

Sammie and Cheyenne just landed on the moon.
Christian all decked out in his helmet and goggles. Doesn't he look so cute.

Sammie and Sara standing in front of a helicopter were the army men would jump out of the back. It was cool to see how big it was inside.
After seeing Hill Airforce Base, we went to Cindy's house for lunch. She made all of us sloppy joes, pasta salad, cookies and fruit. It was so yummy. Thanks Cindy. Then we went to the Tree House. It has different types of rooms that you can dress up and do things in it. Here Christian and Sky dressed up as firemen driving the fire truck.
Here Christian and Tyler in the rodeo. Tyler was dressed up as the rodeo clown. Christian was waiting to get on the bull.

Here Cheyenne was dressed up in her firefighter gear. What a cutie!

Playing at the Reservoir

On July 25th, we went to the Reservoir and played in the water and sand. Of course my kids had their boats grandma gave them to play with. It was a little chilly in the morning but warmed up nice and it was a very fun day for everyone.
What cute sisters playing together waiting for the rest of the gang to get there.
Sammie being brave and getting in the cool water while it was still chilly.
Sammie, Cheyenne, Nicole, and Sara out playing in the raft in the giant hairball. We called the pile of grass, and gunk a hair ball and the kids thought it was disgusting.
Sammie, Sara, and Nicole trying to paddle out farther. They finally got the hang of it and got out pretty far.
Christian wasn't to sure about being in the water or wearing his life jacket. We could only get him on the tube for a little bit. He didn't want to get wet, but didn't have a problem getting anyone else wet.
Ryan trying to get Christian to go out farther with him. Christian wouldn't have anything to do with it.
Christian and Cheyenne out in about 1 foot of water. Since that is all Christian would allow.
Sammie, Sara, Uncle Craig, Nicole, Ben and Tyler out in the middle of the Reservoir having fun. Craig and Tyler caught a fish and liked looking under water to find more fish.
Ryan took Nicole out to the middle with the rest of the gang.
Daddy took Cheyenne and Sammie out on the raft. They had so much fun.
This was Christian's type of fun. He made sand castles with Aunt Cindy and Brayden. He stayed with the sand and the toys.
Once it was lunch time, Christian just hung out like a cool teenager and drank his drink. He just chilled out. We had so much fun going there and being together as a family.

Camping Fun

While Ryan and I were at the Kenny Chesney concert, my parents and 2 sisters and their families went camping. It was very nice of them to take my kids and deal with them all day and night for us while we were gone. They had so much fun. There was a creek by the camp ground and grandma had brought boats for the kids to play with. My kids liked sailing their boats.
Christian sailing his boat. Say cheese buddy!
Cheyenne playing in the water with her boat, trying to cool off since it was a very hot weekend.

Kenny Chesney Concert

On July 23rd Ryan and I went to see Kenny Chesney perform. He is such a great concert to see. It is so much fun. We loved every song he sang. We could go see him every time he came to concert. It was such a BLAST!!!!
Here Ryan and I are waiting for Kenny to start. We sat on the East side of the stadium with the sun beating down on us. It was so HOT!!!!! Especially when you are 8 months pregnant and swollen. My ankles were huge! Thank goodness we didn't have anyone in front of us so I could at least sit down when I needed to and still see everything that Kenny did. We had such a fun night.

Our little fishes

So the kids took swimming lessons during July 6th-17th. On the last day they got to go off the diving board and the slide. Sammie likes going off the diving board. She is getting better at it. Maybe next year she can go without any one catching her.
Here is Sammie going down the slide without anyone catching her. She swam all of the way to the side. She is getting the hang of it.
Cheyenne loves to float. I don't know how she does it but she can float forever. Maybe the little bit of extra air in her tummy helps a little bit to keep her afloat. She just doesn't sink.
Here is Cheyenne swimming to the side of the pool with her teacher after she jumped off of the diving board. She isn't scared and didn't need a life jacket either. Way to go Chey!!!

Christian loved going to swim lessons. He was such a good swimmer. He would ask you to put his face in the water. He would just jump in and get wet. He definately was not afraid to do anything.
