Dr Christian

So for preschool, Aunt Jill was talking about the letter N and Nurses. Jill got them some nursing stuff. On May 15th, I wasn't feeling real well and Christian wanted to be my Dr and take care of me. He had to get on all of his Dr stuff. He looks so cute.
This little Dr. is the best little Dr ever. What a cutie!!!

I'm Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo

On May 14th, I went with Cheyenne up to the Hogle Zoo for her field trip. We had so much fun. I am glad I got to have some one on one time with her. She sure surprised me, she liked the snakes and stuff that I hate seeing there. Last time we went she didn't like seeing the animals very much.
Cheyenne and Mathius in front of the twin tigers. Boy they have grown since the last time I saw them.
Cheyenne more with the tigers.
They new baby elephant was kindof a dud. It ended up getting up and playing. Why I didn't take a picture of it playing, I really don't know. He was cute.
Cheyenne playing on the elephant. We had such a good time. I am so glad that I was able to go and be there with Cheyenne. I love you Chey.

Crazy sleepers!!!

On May 13th, I babysat Ben and Tyce. Boy they were cRaZy boys. Finally late afternoon, I told them it was time to settle down and watch a movie. AAHHH, peace and quiet. They all fell asleep. I love how they each fell asleep. Classic Ben, with his fingers in his mouth and his hand in his pants. This is his Trade mark. I love this kid. Christian fell asleep half on the couch and half off.

Tyce just fell asleep with the blanket over his face. You could barely see his face. Yeah, I was so glad that they fell asleep at the same time.

Mother's Day

I got spoiled on Mother's Day. I am not showing my pictures because I don't have makeup on, and it is not pretty. Ryan and the kids got me cards, a people magazine with Kenny Chesney on it, who I love, and Ipod adaptor, and the best of all was a spa day. I get to get a pedicure, massage and facial. I can't wait to get it done. I was spoiled. I love being a mother and a wife. I also want to tell my Mother and Mother in law, how much I love them and how wonderful they are. Thank you!!!

Peyton's Surgery

On April 6th Peyton got a rectal abcess and I took him to the Dr's and the Dr told us that if it didn't go away by Friday with 2 antibiotics and sitz baths 3 times a day he will have to have surgery. We didn't like the sound of that. So on Friday we took him back in and the Dr said that it looked so much better that we didn't have to have surgery. Well on May 1st, it came back and we went back down to our Pediatrician Dr B and he sliced the abcess opened, which was horrible for a mother to watch. I usually can handle things like that being a nurse, but that was no fun, especially for Peyton. Dr B cultured the infection and told me to call Primary Children's Hospital and go see the Gastroenterologist and see what he says to do next. Dr B put Peyton on more antibiotics. So right when I got home, I called Primary Chrildren's and of course they weren't open until Monday. That is a long time to wait when it is your baby that has something wrong. On Monday we called and they told us to come right in to the Riverton location. We went and saw Dr B. He was awesome and told us that Peyton had a rectal fistula and it tunneled up inside about an inch. He said we can have surgery as soon as possible to get it fixed. Well we scheduled it for the very next morning. Here Peyton is looking so cute in his hospital gown.
Peyton and Ryan wait for the nurse to come take his vital signs.
Peyton and I still waiting. Goodness, I look so tired. I guess probably because I didn't sleep well and had to get up at 5:00 am to get up here by 7:00. We tried to do it at Primary Children's hospital but it would be about a month to get in there and at UVRMC it took 2 weeks. So we opted to come here. It was so nice and new. We loved it there.
Thank goodness they had some toys on the wall to keep Peyton entertained. He was kind of ornery since he hasn't had anything to eat since 3:00.
It was so sad when the anestesiologist took Peyton from me and we watched Peyton and the Dr walk down the hallway. I am so glad he didn't cry because that would have killed me. It was very hard to have your first child go to surgery and have it your baby. The surgery honestly took only 10 minutes at tops. It was so fast. They didn't have to put in an IV or intubate him. Once he got back to recovery they had Ryan and I right back there. Of course he was screaming for something to eat. They gave him 3 bottles of pedialyte or something like that. He still screamed for more and they said that was to much for right now. Goodness, can't they see that my child was withering away. He is STARVING!!!!
They finally let Peyton have a cracker once he was totally awake. He was so much happier then.
Yeah, we are so glad that is over. Dr B said that he has only had 1 come back in the whole time he has practiced. I think he said it was 12 or 22 years. So Yeah, I am glad it is over. It hasn't been fun especially for Peyton. He was so tough through the whole thing.

OOPS!!!

So I knew I was missing some pictures. Some how Ryan and I thought we down loaded all of our pictures before we changed the memory card and we didn't. So sorry I am going to back track a little bit.

Mini Golf

So while Ryan was on his bike ride, I took the kids Miniture Golfing. We had some passes to use, so what a great day to use it. It was so fun. I don't think Christian has ever been mini golfing, so he had a blast. It was neon night there. So sorry if the pics are a little dark.
Sammie and Cheyenne hitting the ball many times up the hill.
Christian was so excited to hit his ball, that he didn't care whose turn it was. He was hitting his ball.
Cute little Benny.
Ben, Christian, Sammie, and Cheyenne on the last offical hole. They had so much fun. It went so fast because no one waited. I had to keep reminding them to take turns. Oh well, they had fun and that is all that matters, right.

MS bike ride

So on June 26th, Ryan went and rode a 100 miles for an MS bike ride fundraiser with some co-workers. Ryan's work has put together a team to ride for the past few years. They raise money to help fight MS in Utah.
Here Ryan is ready to go and ride. I was so proud of him. He finished the whole 100 miles. What an accomplishment. He signed up to ride 75, but wanted to finish the whole 100 miles and so he kept going. I couldn't have done it. Way to go Ryan. We are so proud of you. Doesn't he look so " hot" in his skimpies!!!!

Going on a Hike!!!

So I had to go on a hike with my Beehives and I thought it would be fun to have Christian go with me. So Christian and I and the other girls walked up to a water fall. We had so much fun. Christian pretty much ran the whole way up. He was so fast.
Here is Christian and I in front of the waterfall. He said it was too cold and wouldn't get in like the CrAzY Young Women did.

On the way down, Christian wiped out twice. The first time he slipped and hit a tree that was laying on the ground with a branch broken off. Of course he had to hit the part that would do the most damage. Looking at it, up there, looked like it was mostly dirt. Once we got it cleaned up we saw what he did, the poor little guy. Thank goodness, his second fall he just scuffed up his hands and that wasn't a big deal. We did have a great time minus the 2 falls.

We finally did it!!!

On June 19th, we went shopping at the mall and I asked Cheyenne if she wanted to get her ears pierced, knowing very well that the answer would be NO!!! But I got the biggest shock of my life. She said Yes!!! Oh my goodness. I couldn't believe it. We went to Claire's and she got to pick out the earrings she wanted. The lady that was going to pierce her ears kept asking her if she was sure that she wanted to do it. I was like, quit talking like that, you are going to help her change her mind. Cheyenne started getting a little bit worried and I was like, No you are going to do it. It isn't going to be a big deal. Well look, she did it and was so happy she did. She was like, It didn't really hurt that bad.
So of course, Sammie was watching and saw that Cheyenne did it and didn't freak out, so she could do it. Well I can't believe it, Sammie did it also. I have waited 8.5 years for my girls to get their ears pierced. I am in shock. I think I was happier than they were that they did it. They look so cute. We have to change our earrings every day to match our out fits. I love that they did it and I am so proud of them for FINALLY doing it!!!
