The Garden's

After the Petting Zoo, we went over the to Garden's. At the Garden's, they have a Noah's Ark with water that the kids can play on. For the longest time, Christian would not go and play in the water. After about 10 minutes I finally got it out of him that he didn't want to swim because I didn't bring his swimming trunks and he didn't want to walk around with wet clothes and underwear. I showed him that I had extra clothes for him and then he went right into the water. He is such a funny kid.
Christian, Sky, and Ben playing in the water. They had so much fun playing for the little time they had left after Christian decided to join them.
Here the Boys are taking a break with their suckers. Sky, Ben, Christian and Peyton needed to take a breather. It was a warm August day.
They have a beautiful waterfall there. Peyton, Amy and Christian needed a picture in front of the waterfall. It was so pretty.
The boys posing in front of the gazebo and pretty flowers. We had such a good day. Thanks for inviting us!!!!

The Petting Zoo

So while the older kids were at school, my sister Jill, my sister in law Angie, and I took the kids to the petting zoo. We had such a good time. Peyton was fine riding the horses. He could have cared less. He is such an easy going kid.
Christian had to be on the biggest horse. He had so much fun. Yeehaw!!!
Christian, Sky, and Ben looking at the pigs.
Aunt Jill showing the boys how to feed the goats. This goat kept attacking Jill. He knew she had food and he wanted it. Jill was trying to feed the little goats but he kept pushing them away to get to the food. It was funny.
Christian being a brave big boy and feeding the little goats some food. He had such a great time and the petting zoo.

First Day of School

I can't believe it is the first day of school. I also can't believe that I have a 3rd grader!! Holy cow, Sammie has grown up to be a beautiful girl. She looks so cute and big.
I also can't believe that Cheyenne is going to school all day long now. Goodness, time flies!!! Have a great year girls!!!

Peyton's First Birthday!

While we were waiting for everyone to show up, Peyton was showing off and showing how he can take a few steps. Way to go Peyton!!!
While Peyton was opening his presents, he got so sick of opening clothes. We had many people give him clothes because he has out grown many of his. He started throwing a big fit!...
Until he got some toys. Then he was a happy little camper!
Yay for TOYS!!!
Peyton and his first birthday cake!!!
He didn't really quite know what to do with it. He didn't like digging in it.

This was his final picture. He had more on his tummy, from trying to wipe his hands off, than on his face from eating it. What a cute silly boy. We love you so much Peyton and Happy First Birthday!!!

County Fair

On August 19th, we went down to the county fair. Our kids take art lessons from their Grandma Nancy and enter their pictures in the fair. They have so much fun going down and seeing what they won!!!
Christian was beyond ecstatic that he won a blue ribbon. That is first place!!!!
Cheyenne had 2 first place ribbons right next to each other. Of course, we had to have a picture there.
And last but not least, Samatha by her picture. They were so happy. They got 2 dollars for every first place ribbon that they got. I was so proud of them for all of their accomplishments!!! Love you guys!

24th of July!!!

So after the parade, my family went up to the reservoir. We have started doing this on the 24th and we take a picnic and have fun in the sun and water!!!
Sammie, Cheyenne, Nicole, Christian, and Ryan go out on one of the rafts!!! They have so much fun splashing each other and having races with the other raft.
Cheyenne and Ryan just like going out and bob in the water. Me on the other hand, just sit on the side and watch everyone.
Sammie, I think you have enough floating devices!!! I don't think anything will happen to you.
Christian and Ben just chill out in the raft until someone will push them out!
Most of the time however, they just like playing in the sand, when the sand isn't to hot to touch!!!
Peyton liked being down by the water. He liked touching the cold sand and not the burning hot sand!
Oh my cute little chunky monkey in the little raft. He loved floating in that.
Smile Samantha and Christian
One more picture before it was time to leave, to go home and get ready for the BBQ and fireworks!!!

Fiesta Day's Parade

We love our city days and parade. Cheyenne, Nicole, Ben, Christian, Sammie, and Sara are waiting for the parade to begin. Ryan and I usually sit out and save seats the day before. It is so hot. That is how much we love this parade.
Ryan and cute "little" Peyton waiting for all of the fun!!!
Say cheese Amy and Peyton!!!
Oh the parade has begun. Close your ears tight, here comes the cannons!!! BLAST!!!! Boy they are so loud. I make Ryan hold Peyton so I can close my ears with the kids!
Peyton takes a break from the parade to talk to Great Uncle Paul!!!

Carnival Rides

On July 23rd, we took the kids to the carnival. We had so much fun. I took the girls on the Tilt of whirl. They haven't been on it. We had so much fun giggling. We laughed the whole time.
Christian and Cheyenne had so much fun on the little roller coaster. It was so much fun watching them laugh. They laughed the whole time.
It makes me so happy watching my kids have fun together and watching them laugh.
Ryan took Sammie and Christian on the scrambler. I think Ryan was going to vomit. Sam and Christian had such a good time on that ride.
We let Peyton go on the Merry-go-round. He had so much fun and then the ride started. He wasn't so sure about the ride once it started. He never cried but didn't smile much either. We love the carnival.

Children's Parade

In our city we have a children's parade the Saturday before our city days. We love this week. The children's parade was on July 17th this year. We had to wear red, white and blue.
Samantha, Cheyenne, Christian and Peyton getting ready to start the Children's Parade.
Our cousins walked the parade route with us. Sara rode her scooter with Sam and Chey and Nicole pushed Peyton for a while in his stroller.
Christian wanted to ride the float. He loved the decorative fireworks.
Peyton ready for his ride. I wish someone would push me in a stroller.
Christian decided not to ride the float after all. I don't know what changed his mind. Here we are walking the parade route.
Ben was really having some issues today. He didn't want to walk or ride the float, so he cried instead. He is such a cute boy.
About half way down the route, Christian decided not to walk any more and got into the float again. Isn't he so cute!!!
We are done. Sara, Jill, Ben, Ryan and Peyton are ready to go to the Children's activities!
Cheyenne and Christian doing the fishing pond. They love this activity.
Sammie showing us what she got from fishing.
Cheyenne and Sammie doing the bean bag toss. I have to say they did really well.
Christian did well also but cheated a little bit and was very close.
Sammie in line for the bounce house. They had so much fun doing this.
Cheyenne catching some air coming down the last slide.
Christian catching some air also. They did the bounce house a few times!!! We love the 24th of July activities!!!
