A BBQ at Aunt Kim and Uncle Todd's

While we were waiting for the food to get done, Christian stole Ryan's Coke and had a good time finishing it off.
He is such a chugger. He was brown from spilling some of it on his white shirt. Oh well.
What cute cousins. Cheyenne, Avery, and Sammie play so well together. You would never know they don't see each other much by how well they play.
Christian having a chocolate creamy after dinner was over. More brown to add to his shirt.
Aunt Jill and Luke playing on the rope swing.
Christian found the goofy hat we were using to play a game with. He is so GOOFY.
Christian, Avery, Samantha, and Cheyenne waiting for the fireworks to begin.
Luke and Christian waiting patiently for the fireworks to begin. They wanted to be out with the big boys lighting the fireworks.
Cheyenne, Taylor, Samantha, Aunt Kim and Aunt Jill watching the grand fireworks.
Christian and Luke watching more fireworks.
Christian and Cheyenne watching the finale. What a great weekend we had celebrating the 4th of July and our freedom. What a great place to live.

4th of July BBQ

After we got done eating our London Broil, hot dogs, salad, rolls, potatoes, ect. The kids went out to play. Sammie, Sara, and Cheyenne went and playing in the tent that Uncle Craig set up.
For dessert, Aunt Angie brought cupcakes. Ben was so cute with his icing goatee.
Good thing it is an American holiday since Christian loves to play the American sport, baseball. That is all he did while we were outside.
Ben with his cupcake and Christian with his bat. Those two boys are such cute cousins.
Ryan was playing around with Nicole and while she was getting a bite of her cupcake, Ryan kindof pushed it into her face so icing got on her chin and nose. Nicole didn't like this and started crying. Jill (Nicole's Mom) told her to go and do the same thing to him. Nicole got Ryan good.
While we were waiting for a huge thunder storm cloud to blow past, we decided to do sparklers. Cheyenne didn't particularly care for the sparklers. They scared her.
Sammie showing off her fancy sparkler twirling.
Grandpa lifting Christian up like the Statue of Liberty holding his torch.
Christian showing off that he can do 2 sparklers at the same time. He couldn't get enough of them. While the sparklers ran out it started to rain. We decided to do the rest of the fireworks another day. We went to start the car and it was dead. Ryan, Craig, and Grandpa spent about a half hour, if not longer, trying to get it to start up. It was a goner. The rain stopped and the kids wanted to do the fireworks. While we watched the fireworks, Grandpa took Ryan to get our other car so we could get home. What a fun way to end a great 4th of July.

Water time

After everyone took naps after breakfast. It was water time. Sammie went on the slip n slide first. It was hot and the water felt great.
Christian didn't understand he was suppose to slide on it. He just kept running on it and getting wet from the sprinklers.
Christian finally went on his bum, not on purpose though.
Sara's turn now.
Cheyenne's turn. Her face is priceless.
Now Nicole's turn.
Christian, Nicole, and Cheyenne were running around playing like they were bats with their towels.
Sara and Sammie hanging out in the pool while the other kids let them have some peace without all of the splashes.

Breakfast Time

After seeing the balloons take off. We got together with our cousins and Grandma and Grandpa for breakfast. We had waffles, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and juice. Cheyenne, Nicole, Ben, Sammie, and Sara were ready for breakfast after getting up so early.
Tyler, Sara, Christian, and Sammie eating their breakfast.
After breakfast, Grandpa and Christian went to watch the movie all of the kids were watching. Everyone was tired from getting up around 5:30 in the morning. Christian just loves his Grandpa.

Balloon Fest

We went to the balloon fest on July 4th 2009. We got there just in time. It was so fun watching all of the balloons get blown up with a huge fan.
Amy, Ryan, Cheyenne, Samantha, and Christian in front of a balloon that is getting blown up.
It was amazing how big inside of the balloons were. They were huge.
Christian talking with Grandpa about something. Christian had a hard time seeing inside of the balloon, so Grandpa let him get on his shoulders. Grandma is waiting for a turn to take a picture inside of the balloon.
Chey, Ryan, Amy, Christian, and Sammie in front of more balloons.
Christian and Ryan waiting for the balloons to get ready and launch off.
Cheyenne, Grandpa, and Sammie having more pictures taken.
It was a cool site to see all of the balloons ready to go.
All of the balloons up in the sky line. We counted 18 balloons. It was a fun early morning.
