Peyton is Here!!!!

On August 23rd, we went to the hospital at 6:30 in the morning to have our little baby. We had to wait a little bit longer than planned due to an emergency delivery. Here I am just waiting for all of the fun to begin.
Here I am prepped and ready for my C-section. After I got my epidural my blood pressure went down and I had a lot of drugs on board. I didn't care what happened. I was very calm. I don't remember Ryan even taking this picture of me. The anesthesiologist asked if it was okay if they started the C-section and I said yes. His reply was good because they have already started. It turned to Ryan and asked, "Did they really start" and He looked and said Yes. Ryan was so fasinated with the C-section. He watched the whole thing and would every once in a while look down to me and ask if I was okay. I would always say yes and then he would turn around and keep watching.

Here is the Dr that helped my Dr deliver Peyton. Yeah he is finally here. Right when they had him out I thought to myself, "I can breathe!!!!" Ryan went with the nurses to check him out and I pretty much laid there sleeping while they finished me up. While I was laying there, I heard Ryan and the nurses in the next room just laughing and then they told me Peyton weighed 11.0 pounds. My Dr was very glad we did a C-section. So am I now that I know how much my "little" baby weighed.
After they got him cleaned up they came and brought him to me so I could see him. They told me he is having a hard time breathing so they are taking him to the NICU to help him out, and off they went. Ryan went with them.
Peyton was hooked to a c-pap machine to help him breathe. He also had an IV in his head because his blood sugar was low. Thank goodness he only stayed in NICU for a couple of hours. His blood sugar was never low again after that and He never had any problems with breathing since then. We are very happy that besides those few little things he is a healthy "little" boy.

I like how you put "little" in quotes.
